We are all concerned about the Coronavirus and want to do everything in our ability to keep all our family members as safe as possible. We are especially concerned about our elderly and infirm and all who are vulnerable.
For St. Rose Parish this means:
All public Masses weekend and weekday are suspended.
Monday night Confessions are canceled.
The communal praying of the Stations of the Cross is suspended.
Adoration is canceled.
The ECC is closed until March 30th and most likely this will be longer.
All other parish group meetings, including Religious Education and Confirmation Sessions, Bereavement, Bible Study, all social events, and all Choir practices are canceled until further notice.
Father Kerwin and I will celebrate Mass privately for all of our Parishioners and their families during this critical time. We will also be offering these private Masses for the intentions of those who have scheduled masses for their loved ones.
Our church will be unlocked and open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. for private prayer each day.
As big gatherings are discouraged to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), you can still nourish your spirit by tuning into our Livestream of the liturgical service. Father Kerwin and I will celebrate Mass privately at 9AM daily and it will be streamed LIVE on our website. The Sunday Vigil Mass at 5:30 on Saturday evenings will be also streamed live on the parish website for all.
Father Kerwin and I are available for private confessions and the Sacrament of the Anointing of the sick. We are available to speak with you; please call the office with questions for us. 973-887-5572. I am at extension 125 and Father Kerwin’s extension is 114.
