As you all know, I have been preparing these last few weeks to get ready for my studies in Rome, and although I returned from seminary over a month now, time has flown by. I leave on June 25th to Europe on our Parish pilgrimage, and afterwards I will go right to Rome from the pilgrimage. And while I know that date is still a few weeks away, I know it will soon be upon us. Once I am in Rome, I will first leave to the north of Italy for a month in Verbania to take intensive Italian courses to help improve my Italian, since all of my courses in Rome will be taught in Italian, che bello! I plan to write on this blog weekly so that you can follow along with me in my journey to Rome, but I know some weeks I will not be able to because of exams or retreats, so don't worry if you don't hear from me every week. I also plan to post pictures here of my different experiences. (I have already included a picture above of the seminary complex in Rome.) Please also feel free to comment on the posts and share your questions or whatever else with me. I will still have the same e-mail address as is found in the bulletin and I can be reached by mail as well. The most important thing though is please continue to pray for me, your prayers are so essential to me and all of the seminarians in our Diocese and around the world. It were those prayers that first helped me to discern my vocation to the priesthood and sustain me while I study. I can assure you that all of you are in my daily prayers and will remain to be in them. Thank you and God Bless.
